About Me

Last August of 2024, I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies at the Isabela State University - Cauayan City Campus. During my undergraduate study, I was able to present a study on English instruction and its interrelation with the English proficiency of learners in Cauayan City, Isabela in the Linguistic Society of the Philippines International Conference ‘24.Currently, I am taking my Master of Arts in English Studies: Language at the University of the Philippines Diliman. Right now, I am writing two papers on conceptual metaphors in the Philippines—one related to olfaction and the other to politics. When I am not nerd-ing about linguistics, I like to immerse myself in Filipino and Western popular culture, learn about brainrot language, discover new music and artists to obsess over, and watch movies and TV series (thriller, mystery, and horror, sitcom, and romcom).I hope to publish my papers and studies in local and international journals in the future :>
